Childish? maybe. But when dozens of self entitled blood suckers threaten to boycott the band they allegedly love because the band pulls the soundboards, well, "See ya" is about right. Bob wasn't aiming that at the general rank and file, just at the abusive, insulting, childish assholes who hadn't downloaded all 6,000 shows yet. Good for him to speak his mind. Again--the folks he insulted were the bloodsuckers who, in most cases, didn't buy gdp material. Of course, if you buy a ticket to a show, I guess that entitles you to everything you can get your hands on.

God forbid a member of the Dead get pissed off.

"O.K but let's say that the only boards in circulation were commercially released stuff. that would equal what, 75, 80 shows?"

That's 75-80 soundboards more than you can find for most bands worth listening to.

"who the fuck can survive on so few shows?"

I'm not a doctor, nor a biologist but I am pretty sure that you could survive with absolutely NO shows. Grateful Dead soundboards are a joy, but definitely not a prerequisite to life.

"i wanna hear the good shows in this LIFETIME thank you."

We all wanna hear the "good shows", but we're not guaranteed that we will be afforded that luxury. And, we don't have an inalienabe right to these shows. They are there because(and when) the rightful owner decides to share them with us. Be Grateful, for one day you will surely be Dead.
